The strategy of HRRAC is to promote literacy among women and young people locally. The goal of HRRAC is for every Afghan woman and girl to have the fundamental skills and abilities required to live a successful and satisfying life. In our ideal Afghanistan, all women and girls participate in decision-making in their families and communities and have timely access to high-quality learning opportunities.
HRRAC thinks that educating women both academically and informally is the only way to empower them. In the Afghan provinces of Helmand, Kabul, Khost, Nangarhar, and Nuristan, HRRAC has been conducting a national program of Basic Literacy and Skills Development for Women and Girls.
