HRRAC is a member of the Afghanistan Humanitarian Fund’s protection and nutrition clusters. HRRAC has put in place the required policy framework to implement emergency projects in various parts of the country. Along with other assistance, HRRAC provides education in emergencies to children in areas hit by war and natural disasters. In addition to that, HRRAC is a sub-cluster member in Gender Based Violence and Child Protection. HRRAC understands that any form of violence directed against women, girls, boys and men on the basis of socially attributed differences between males and females. It includes acts that inflict physical, mental, sexual harm or suffering, as well as threats of such acts, coercion and other deprivations of liberty. Therefore, HRRAC works with vulnerable and affected groups on issues related to GBV.
